Experience the Medicine of Touch
A Different Kind of Bodywork
Blue Yarrow is rooted in the understanding that the body is not a collection of parts, but a living system with its own rhythms, memory, and intelligence.
Joya’s work begins with listening, hands-on and attunement. Sessions unfold at the pace the body asks for, allowing space for regulation, circulation, and repair to occur naturally. Intuition guides the listening; technique provides the structure. Care is grounded in clinically informed therapeutic skill, refined through decades of hands-on practice.
Clients often come with chronic pain, tension patterns, scar tissue, digestive or abdominal imbalances, nervous system overwhelm, or life transitions related to women’s health, pregnancy, and postpartum care. Others come simply knowing their body needs time, depth, and a more thoughtful approach to healing.
Sessions range from focused support to extended deep-dive care and may integrate lymphatic work, deep abdominal techniques, womb and spinal therapies, medicated oils, aromatherapy, and elemental or Ayurvedic approaches. Lifestyle and dietary guidance may be offered when supportive, always in response to the individual rather than as a formula.
This work is designed to meet you where you are, supporting the body in remembering how to move toward balance.
Blue Yarrow Bodywork offers integrative, hands-on care shaped by over 30 years of practice.
Joya works with the body as a living system, supporting regulation, circulation, and repair through skilled touch, clincal therapeutic technique and attentive presence.
Care for bodies in transition
This work supports people navigating chronic pain, tension patterns, scar tissue, nervous system overwhelm, digestive or abdominal concerns, and women’s health transitions, including pregnancy and postpartum care.
Slow, relational, responsive
Sessions are intentionally paced and shaped through listening. Care unfolds through skilled touch, intuitive awareness, and clinically grounded technique, allowing the body time to respond and integrate.
More than a single session
Some sessions are focused; others are deeper and more immersive. Many clients work with Joya over time, approaching care as an ongoing relationship rather than a one-time treatment.
